CIS is a Centre based on research and discussion. The Center will work to explore, understand and comprehend cyberspace in Bangladesh. Through this Initiative, various efforts and activities in Internet and smartphone domain will be brought together under a common umbrella in order to encourage more activities and research across the campus. As an independent research Centre, associated with, but separate from the University of Dhaka, it will seek to develop an international recognition as well as a Bengali node of national and international network of associated researchers and institutions, and serve as a nexus for partnership building and collaborative scholarship while fund-raising will happen in a natural way for balancing the funding.
